Full Stretch Display Relaunches Brand

Full Stretch Display is proud to announce the relaunch of their contemporary and innovative brand to position themselves as premium supplier of branding and display systems in the retail, display and interior sectors in South Africa.

A South African-owned company, FSD, manufactures, assembles and distributes a unique, patented tensioning display system throughout Southern Africa, exporting to Australia, UK, Italy and the USA. This innovative and durable system boasts endless applications due to its modularity, flexibility and customising properties.

FSD aims to be the first and most popular option for indoor brand display methodology for all the national and international key brands, and is strategically focused to grow the brand equity of their clients through creative, in-your-face, brand message presence in their particular methodology.

They offer world-class design, display and branding solutions to various clients in the retail sector as well as the interior design, events and exhibitions industries, and have worked with well known premium brands, including amongst others, Vodacom, Google, HP and Adidas.

The FSD system was invented and developed locally by engineers Alphons Du Toit and Dietmar Renner of Technimark Advanced Prototyping Services.

The research and development for the product started in 2004 and the final product was launched in 2006. Continuous adjustments and improvements pushed the system to the stage where a separate company had to be created to manage, market and introduce the unique design solution to the display and marketing industry, the result of which led to Full Stretch Display’s registration in 2009. 

The past four  years saw tremendous growth, which laid the foundation to a sustainable future.

Their new logo was designed by Eugene Badenhorst from Pumphaus Design and a brand campaign was developed in collaboration with the FSD marketing and branding division. The development of the new logo is based on the acronym (initialism) of Full Stretch Display.  Says Eugene, “The style of the 'logotype' for FSD is customised and bespoke, giving it its own identity and personality. The 'S' is flipped around, representing flexibility and versatility. This allows the 'F' and 'D' to join the 'S' seamlessly – showing continuous flow, which represents the flexibility and versatility of their product. The clean strong lines and simplicity of the whole logo as well as the colours used, reflect an innovative and contemporary brand.”

The relaunch also entailed, amongst other exciting projects, a new website, a revised press office on Bizcommunity and a Facebook Snowball application, where entrants who “like” their page stand the chance to win systems to the value of R50 000.
